Christmas-on-top-of-a-truck Event
Our next big event will be on the 3rd of December 2011 where J’aimeKids will be hosting our annual Christmas-on-top-of-a-Truck Event. This year we have decided to host this event in Krugersdorp. We will be traveling through the streets of the poor areas of Krugersdorp, especially Krugersdorp West on an open truck decorated with Christmas decorations playing Christmas carols, handing out gifts to the underprivileged children. We will again be escorted by bikers through the streets of Krugersdorp which creates a beautiful effect.
Needs List:
Our immediate needs list revolves around our Christmas Project. Any gifts for boys and girls from the ages of 0-18 years old are needed to help J’aimeKids make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children this Christmas. Boitumelo Mathibela wrote the following on the J’aimeKids Facebook page when the venue for this year Christmas project came to light:
Boitumelo Mathibela Wow,,, that is a good one,,, 5 years ago if im not mistaken,,, wen i was in burgershoop(west kdrp),, a truck cheered my kids as we had no gifts en joy that christmas,,, pliz dont foget Luiperdsvlei,,,its horrible here,,, i was helping a group of boys,,,pliz add dem on your list,,, im def gonna help,,en b involved,,, thanx a million
